November’s TOP 3! 

The cold is upon us and winter is just around the corner…  I figured I would heat you up with these warm & colourful images.  

The first is a Fisherman’s Stew from the Back Lane Café.  The warm dark tones in the image help to recreate the amazing smells and tastes from chef Michael Hay’s kitchen.

The second image is part of the imagery we created for Casino du Lac Leamy and Casino Tremblant for there Holiday campaign “Dégustez la magie du temps de fêtes”.  With a great team, amazing talent and our magical Photoshop skills, we were able to make the culinary fantasy come to life!

Our final “calming” image makes you want to get your swimsuit out and float your day away in Le Nordik’s new Källa Basin.  When it’s starting to get cold outside, photographing in warm 35+ degree temperatures is great!  We spent 6 hours photographing the space and models from various angles floating in this magical underground area.  

We have one more TOP 3 before the end of the year!!  Stay tuned to see how we finish it all off.

Les TOP 3 de novembre!

Avec le temps froid et l’hiver à notre porte, je propose de vous réchauffer avec des images chaleureuses, pleines de couleurs.

La première image, une bouillabaisse du resto Back Lane Café.  Avec son ambiance et ses couleures chaudes, le plat rappelle les saveures et les bonnes odeures provenant de la cuisine de Michael Hay.

La deuxième image fait parti d’une série produite pour le Casino du Lac Leamy et du Casino Tremblant pour leurs campagne ”Dégustez la magie du temps de fêtes”.  Avec une super équipe, d’excellent modèles et notre magie Photoshop, nous avons pu créer cette fantaisie culinaire.

La dernière image, d’un calme incroyable, vous donne le goût de sorti votre maillot de bain et de vous glissez dans le nouveau basin Källa au Nordik spa nature.  Lorsqu’il commence à faire froid dehors, rien de mieux que photographier dans un espace à 35+ degré celcius.  Nous avons photographier nos modèles dans ce basin souterrain  pendant plus de 6 heures et croyez moi que c’est un expérience a vivre!

Nous avons un dernier TOP 3 cette année,  gardez les yeux ouverts pour voir comment nous allons finir ça!

October’s Top 3 - Les top 3 d’octobre

I can’t believe it’s already November!!  

Last Month’s Top 3 are again quite varied…  They take you from your stomach, to your wrist, to the sky!!

The 1st image is from the latest Ottawa Magazine Restaurant Issue.  It features the “HOT TEN” list of restaurants.  We got to create some great images in that series but the cover (the flying egg burger, as many are calling it) produced with Kevin Mathleson at Art Is In Bakery,  is definitely one of my favourites!!  You can read more about the story here!

The second image of the Nixon watch was produced for an online retail site, although we were asked to photograph 71 watches on white backgrounds only, I decided to take one of them and turn it into a portfolio piece. 

The last image was produced for Ottawa Tourism… We shot our models in a bi-plane on the ground at the Aviation Museum and the next day, I went up in it to get the background views of the city.  A bit of Photoshop magic and voila! you’re right up there with them!

It’s always great to share these images and hear your feedback on them…  If you have a project in mind that could use our services, we would love to be a part of it!

Je ne peux pas croire qu’on est déjà au mois de novembre!!

Les top 3 images du mois passé vous transport de votre estomac, à votre poignet, et finalement, dans les airs!!

La première images du “Burger avec l’oeuf volant” ce retrouve en page couverture du Ottawa Magazine, édition culinaire.  Cette image produite avec le Chef Kevin Mathleson, de Art Is In Bakery, est ma préféré dans la série “HOT TEN”.  Le Magazine est diponible en magasin ou vous pouvez y jetter un coût d’oeil ici…

La deuxième image a été fait pour un site de vente en ligne. On a photographié 71 montres sur fond blanc.   J’ai décidé de choisir une des montres Nixon et de produire une image pour mon portfolio. En voici le résultat.

La dernière produite pour tourisme Ottawa, a été captée, en parti, au musée de l’aviation.  Nous avons photographier nos modèles dans un bi-plane sur terre ferme et le lendemain je suis monté dans l’avion pour prendre les photos aériennes de la ville.  Un peu de magie Photoshop et voila! …On ce retrouve dans les airs avec eu!

New Food Packaging for the Wong Wing Brand!

As promised here are the 4 latest images for the newest food products in the McCain Wong Wing Brand.  These are part of an ongoing series of images designed to refresh the old packages and to promote some of the newer food items.  We are very proud to be a part of these projects and are extremely pleased with the results.  We have a great team of food and props stylists that really pull through and make everything look at it best!!   Keep an eye out for the 4 new packages in your local grocery stores!!  If you see them, Tweet us a snapshot to  @ClalondePhoto !!
